My articles, stories, and poems have been published in professional journals and hobbyist publications as well as in contemporary online and print journals and magazines.
Everyone has a story to tell, and writing is the best way to preserve it. I assist writers in getting their words on the page, meeting deadlines, and choosing the best format.
My knowledge about writing and grammar and my eye for correctness and detail help writers present their best product for publication. I've edited works of poetry, memoir, fiction, and a doctoral dissertation.
I've fulfilled assignments and had articles published in Bakersfield Magazine, Bakersfield Life, and Bakersfield Wellness Quarterly.
I am available for new freelance assignments.
In 2019, I published my first poetry collection, You Can't Have It All: Poems.
In October 2020, I contributed a number of poems to the social justice anthology, ENOUGH "Say Their Names..." Messages from Ground Zero to the WORLD.
The DayMaker, a place for encouragement and sharing reflections on life, ideas, articles and stories.
HeyAnnis, an occasional blog where I share poetry, information, and reflections about writing.
